About

Who is Reliant?

We were born in 1989 as a mission support agency for a small group of campus church planters. A lot's changed since then! (Less stonewashed jeans, for one).

Today we mobilize church planters and missionaries across like-minded missional groups and church-planting networks. As we've expanded our partnerships, we've adopted a new name. Yet our devotion to Jesus' command to "Go and make disciples..." remains. It's who we are.

I love Reliant because:It represents a thriving and relevant part of the body of Christ - it is truly brothers and sisters coming together in kingdom work

Right this minute I'm probably: Staring out my window at the beauty of the nature on this property at Reliant HQ.

Fun Fact?On my 60th birthday I got engaged - it was a long awaited answer to prayer and it was good! I love it when Dad says yes!

I am responsible for…

Excellence in our financial reporting: I oversee high level issues in our Gift Services area as well as overseeing the end of year giving receipts. I provide leadership and oversight for the Finance team as well as prepare and proof monthly financials. I work closely with internal and external auditors to produce audited financials, providing assurance that we are following approved accounting standards and accurate reconciliation.

I lead today because…

The road is long and God is good-my gifting is administrative and my career has been in financial accounting. I primarily worked in secular firms from the early 70's through 2001. I had served within my church communities for years in a number of capacities, primarily working with children, students and single women. In 2001 I felt a real calling to use all of my talents in ministry and began to pursue that. The Lord opened the door in this ministry and it has been the perfect fit.

I am motivated by…

I am really enthused with all the unique ways I see ministry in motion within the organization, watching as God grows and blesses each aspect of this ministry, is inspiring and knowing that the work that I have the honor to partner in has eternal impact is as good as it gets.
