Mike Heath came to college as a spiritually lost freshman searching for something more. Over his four years at the University of Missouri, Mike was involved in a collegiate church where his life was radically transformed by the grace of God found in Jesus Christ. His search for meaning was fully discovered in God's purpose, to see humans restored in relationship with their Creator through Jesus. As a student, Mike developed a heavy burden to see other college students become followers of Jesus and to plant churches with a strategic focus on reaching the next generation on campus.
After Mike spent four years laboring with a collegiate church to make disciples out of college students at his alma mater, Mike felt the Lord leading him to continue this vital work in the Northwest. His passion to mobilize under-reached college students for the Great Commission led him to join what God is doing in and through Resonate Church. Mike’s desire is for those who have never been told of Jesus see and those who have never heard the truth about Jesus to understand. The need on campus is immense and Jesus is worthy.
Eastern Washington University (EWU) has 12,000 students who need to be impacted by the transforming good news of Jesus Christ. Mike will work to increase Resonate's evangelistic influence on campus by multiplying leaders and small groups through equipping leaders and engaging students on campus with the gospel.
