Who is Reliant?
We were born in 1989 as a mission support agency for a small group of campus church planters. A lot's changed since then! (Less stonewashed jeans, for one).
Today we mobilize church planters and missionaries across like-minded missional groups and church-planting networks. As we've expanded our partnerships, we've adopted a new name. Yet our devotion to Jesus' command to "Go and make disciples..." remains. It's who we are.
Missio Nexus
Missio Nexus (formerly the Mission Exchange/EFMA & CrossGlobal Link/IFMA), is a well-known evangelical missions association which is closely connected with the National Association of Evangelicals since 1946. Their mission is to facilitate relational and developmental initiatives that increase the effectiveness of the Great Commission community.
Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability
This organization is the "gold standard" in financial accountability: Reliant has been a member for over 20 years. Much more on the ECFA here.
World Evangelical Association
The World Evangelical Association (WEA) is a network of churches in 129 nations that have each formed an evangelical alliance and over 100 international organizations joining together to give a world-wide identity, voice, and platform to more than 600 million evangelical Christians. Reliant affirms the WEA statement of faith.
National Association of Evangelicals
The National Association of Evangelicals is the largest national organization of evangelical Christians representing over 45,000 churches. Note: At this time, the NAE does not list Organizational Members like Reliant on its website.
