Who We Are

Reliant is a nondenominational Christian mission organization that partners with churches and nonprofit ministries to help train and equip missionaries throughout the U.S. and internationally. Our office headquarters staff works to handle the administrative side of this process so that our field staff is enabled to fulfill their desired ministry role. We help our missionaries in various areas such as I.T., H.R. and Benefits, Equipping and Training, and Donor Services.

We're bound together by a big purpose: to see healthy missionaries living on the field with fully-funded employment for their mission. We are an accredited 501(c)3 evangelical Christian mission agency that began over 30 years ago, and we are honored to partner with over 200 churches and nonprofits. Our field missionaries do various things such as counsel broken relationships, help university students find their spiritual beliefs, pioneer new churches & innovative ministries, and help women make a sustainable living in Kenya — all in the name of Jesus Christ.

Our Central Office

Reliant's central office is located in the Lake Nona area of Orlando, Florida. We are a hybrid mix of in-person and remote employees from around the US. Together, we serve over 900 missionaries in the US and abroad. We are a close-knit, professional team dedicated to supporting the global work of God's Kingdom. We enjoy the administrative details and excel at human resources, event management, donor services, gift processing, payroll & accounting, web development, I.T. support, etc. We also like to have a lot of fun and work hard to create an enjoyable culture of shared values and mutual respect.

Gift Services Manager

Reliant is looking for a passionate and talented individual to manage our Gift Services functions in our Central Office in the Lake Nona area of Orlando, FL. This full-time managerial role oversees all aspects of the departmental functions of Gift Services at Reliant and oversees the personnel within the team. This role ensures Reliant maintains a solid and healthy relationship with all donors and manages all incoming gifts and processing through Reliant's systems. The position serves as an integral member of the Operations Leadership team within Reliant and oversees interdepartmental communication on gift and donor projects and initiatives for our growing organization.

We are excited for an individual to fill this role who has a heart for people, wants to serve Reliant's rapidly growing donor base, and has a passion for intricate process management of Reliant's regular gift processing. Payroll Specialist

Reliant is looking for a skilled administrative individual who thrives on executing regular processes filled with details and numbers. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the processing of payroll for all of Reliant's Field Missionaries, as a part of the Employment Services team in our Central Office. This position will handle the day-to-day processing of the payroll functions and will serve multiple internal program teams who work to meet missionary needs in increasingly creative ways.

The ideal candidate will enjoy implementing, tracking, and executing regular payroll processes in a rapidly growing organization that serves increasingly diverse partners. We are excited to bring someone into this role who has the heart to serve others and understands the complex processing of payroll tools, spreadsheets, systems, and numbers. Executing this role will require excellent mathematical and data entry skills. This role will be required to maintain employee records and conduct payroll-related reporting, reconciliation, and auditing duties. This role will also be responsible for ongoing maintenance and journal entries to employee accounts, to maintain accurate balances in multiple missionary-related departments.

Gift Services Coordinator II

This Coordinator II role is a part of the Reliant Gift Services team and is responsible for serving Reliant donors and missionaries by processing all incoming donations. This role is a full-time hybrid mix of working remotely and within our Central Florida Office in the Lake Nona area of Orlando, FL. In-office work includes regularly scheduled bi-weekly processing duties as well as end-of-month and occasional holiday responsibilities. This individual will generate and mail donation receipts and reminders to all check donors.  Additionally, the Gift Services Coordinator II processes automatic withdrawal gift batches multiple times per month, along with the associated administrative tasks and communication to donors and internal teams within Reliant.

The ideal candidate for this role possesses the ability to process a large amount of detailed data with a high level of accuracy. The position also requires a skilled ability to use technology databases and physical gift processing equipment (I.e. copier, postage meter, folding & inserting machine, etc.). Our Gift Services team members collaborate with all Reliant Central teams to ensure excellence in customer service to our rapidly increasing constituencies of missionaries and donors.

Payroll Clerk- Temp Position

Reliant is looking for a part-time, experienced, technologically and administratively skilled Payroll Clerk to join our Central Operations team who will serve at the Reliant headquarters located in the Lake Nona area of Orlando, Florida. 

This position is a temporary/seasonal position and will heavily assist with the complex monthly payroll processing for 800+ Reliant missionaries. The responsibilities include providing administrative and data processing support for the Employment Services team and requires a high volume of detailed-oriented work to be performed efficiently and accurately. 

The ideal candidate would be a Christian who has experience with data input, spreadsheets, and databases including analyzing and reconciling that data with other sources.

Junior Software Engineer

International Liaison & Administrative Support

Reliant Mission is hiring for a full-time Administrative Support Role.  The primary responsibility is International Liaison which is the first point of contact for US workers who serve internationally.  The Liaison is responsible for employment support, furlough tracking, timely and friendly communication, and the coordination of troubleshooting for staff needs. The secondary role is Administrative Support for the International Program Lead. 

The ideal candidate would be a Christian who is skilled at meeting deadlines, receiving information and requests with friendly efficiency, and effectively managing time and tasks in a complex information environment.  This person needs to enjoy potential complexities and be a motivated self-starter who works well on their own and with others. 

Effective oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills. Organizational and tracking is done online, so computer literacy in task management systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google sheets are required. Working knowledge of databases, querying and mail merge/piping.

Communications & Recruiting Administrator

Reliant is looking for a full-time passionate and motivated Communications & Recruiting Administrator to join our Operations team who will serve at the Reliant headquarters located in the Lake Nona area of Orlando, Florida. This role will be responsible for the big picture strategy and implementation of Reliant's internal & external Communication and new & developing relationships. This will include ensuring Reliant's brand cohesion through all outlets (print, email, web, social) and with all constituent groups (donors, churches/ministries, missionaries) by collaborating with and serving our internal Central teams. It will include oversight of the Recruiting & New Partnerships Team and coordination with the Operations Leadership Team, as well as direct oversight of large-scale projects such as Reliant's Annual Ministry Report, Year-End Giving Appeals, and ongoing Missionary Training materials.

The ideal candidate would be a Christian who has experience in Communications strategy. Is both creative & innovative as well as able to manage projects on a schedule with multiple collaborators. Solid written communications, mature interpersonal skills, and strong self-management (ability to juggle multiple priorities) are expected. It is important to note that Reliant Central is a hardworking, productive environment of about 40 people supporting around 600 support-based missionaries around the world.
