Build Support-Raising Momentum with the 10x10 Challenge

The 10x10 Challenge invites you into a simple but powerful rhythm: 10 focused hours a week for 10 weeks to build your ministry support team with clarity, confidence, and community. Whether fundraising feels overwhelming or unfamiliar, this guided journey helps you move from stuck to steady, one week at a time.

What if the next three months could actually move your fundraising forward?

Not in a vague, “I should probably work on that someday” kind of way, but in a clear, doable, 10-week stretch where you build real momentum.

That’s the heart behind the 10x10 Summer Challenge

What Is 10x10?

It's simple:

  • 10 hours per week
  • For 10 intentional weeks
  • Centered on Ministry Team Development (MTD)
And here’s the key: we have the resources you need!

Resources include:

  • A 10-episode podcast series guiding you week-by-week.
  • A roadmap with reflection questions to keep you grounded and focused.
10x10 isn’t about becoming an expert fundraiser. It’s about stepping into a clear path. One that helps you move from uncertainty to confidence, little by little, week by week.

So, if you’ve ever thought:

  • I don’t know where to start...”
  • Fundraising feels intimidating...”
  • I wish I had a plan...”
This is your invitation to build momentum with 10 weeks of focused time by giving fundraising the attention it deserves.

10x10: A Path to Walk

This isn’t a checklist; it’s a path you walk.

Each week’s podcast episode has a theme, posture, and a next step. You’ll get to hear from two of Reliant’s expert coaches on:

  • What to expect
  • Where people tend to get stuck
  • How to keep moving forward
It feels less like training and more like a seasoned coach sitting across from you, helping you take the next step. And each podcast is paired with reflection questions to guide you.

10-Week Overview:

Weeks 1–2: Start with God, Then Start with People

You begin by slowing down: praying, reflecting, and reconnecting with your calling.

The next week, you build your list by noticing who’s already in your world. You’ll discover something freeing: You don’t have to decide who will give, you just decide who to invite

Weeks 3–5: Build Rhythm and Take Action

You experiment with what works in real life:

  • When can you focus?
  • How do you balance everything else?
The next week, you pause and learn:

  • What is working?
  • What is difficult?
  • What is God doing in you?
Week 5, you begin thinking strategically:

  • Who needs a response?
  • What conversations are still open?
This is where momentum often begins to build.

Weeks 6–8: Deepen Relationships and Courage

You intentionally thank people, and this fuels you through the “week 7 slump.” Week 8 invites courage: sharing what God is doing, what resources are needed to make it happen, and inviting people to respond with joyful generosity.

Weeks 9–10: Finish Strong and Think Long-Term

Reconnecting through relationship and celebrating what God has done marks the final leg of the 10x10 journey. At the end, you’re encouraged to take what you learned from the challenge to build healthy rhythms that last beyond the 10 weeks.

Pro Tip: Don’t Do This Alone

Support-raising is way more fun with people on the journey with you. Know someone who is doing great with their support-raising? Ask them to mentor you throughout the 10-week challenge. Or sign up to get paired with one of your organization’s coaches or cohorts. You could also form your own cohort!

Challenge Accepted?

What would it look like to give this a real shot?

Not halfway. Not “when you have time.” But now. Take a minute and look at your calendar. When can you commit to 10 weeks of focused hours each week to Ministry Team Development? Block it out, make the space, and lay 10 weeks boldly before the Lord.
