How to Give

Why can't I store my credit card billing information in my profile?

You can store a bank account in your profile to use for future gifts, but you cannot store a credit card for future gifts.

Credit cards can be used to give to any missionary or ministry fund—but for your security, the information must be submitted each time you give a gift or setup a new recurring gift.

Reliant does not display credit cards in the Billing area of your profile, even if there are current recurring gifts that use the credit card for payment. Bank accounts will appear normally. All your gifts, including gifts that use credit cards, will still appear in your Giving Dashboard and Giving History.

The difference is in the way Reliant processes credit card vs banking transactions. For your security, Reliant does not store credit card numbers directly on our servers. Instead, the cards are processed through IATS or Blackbaud, our secure payment processors.

In today's world, we know private information is important, and so we are vigilant about data security. We monitor our own servers and follow industry alerts to make sure we are up to date with security practices.
